![]() Maranatha Seventh-day Adventist Regional School was created to offer an alternative to public school education to people looking for a Christian value based school. We provide elementary education for grades 1 through 8. Maranatha SDA Regional School is dedicated to providing a Christian education where academic excellence and Christian character go hand in hand. Located in the Willimantic SDA church at 126 Quarry Street in Willimantic, CT is governed by the Southern New England Conference of Seventh-day Adventist. Locally, the school is governed by a board appointed by the constituent churches of the Willimantic, Rockville-Tolland, and Norwich Seventh-day Adventist churches. The Maranatha Regional SDA School family exists to show children Jesus, nurture their love for Him and others, teach them to think, and empower them to serve. Our Philosophy The Maranatha Regional SDA School is operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church to provide a spiritually oriented education for children. A belief in the existence of the Creator God is fundamental in the philosophy of Seventh-day Adventist schools. We respect His divine authority and recognize His intervention in human affairs. We believe that true education develops the spiritual, mental, and physical powers of each student; preparing them for the joy of service in this life and for the higher joy of service in the life to come.
